The following is an example of Category 3: Leg Circles. Benefits: Tones hip joints, abdominal and spinal muscles.

 
STEP 1

Lie on your back with your legs extended and your feet together.

STEP 2

Rest your arms by your side, palms facing down.

STEP 3

Tuck your chin in towards your chest.

 
 
STEP 4

Inhale and raise your right leg .

STEP 5

Breathe as you move your leg around in a clockwise rotation slowly 3 times, then in an anticlockwise direction 3 times.

STEP 6

You may like to bend your knee to lower your leg back down to your bed or mat.

 
STEP 7 : Now repeat steps 4 to 6 on the left side.
STEP 8 : Rest
